The Greene County boys golf team picked up a win in a quadrangular hosted on their home course on May 1. Greene County scored 176 followed by Boone with 190; Ogden 194 and no score for Perry.
Tuesday the Rams placed fourth in the Heart of Iowa Conference Tournament at Lincoln Valley Golf Course. PCM is the conference champion with a 341 score. The Mustangs were followed by Nevada at 358; West Marshall 366; Greene County 379; South Hamilton 383; Roland-Story 385; Saydel 472 and no team score for Perry.
Jack Hansen tied with Luke Vawter of WM and Kyle Kingsbury of Nevada for medalist honors with 82. Nathan Behne was 12th with 96 followed by Nathan Towers, 21st, 100; Cody McCollom, 23rd, 101; Mylo Taute, 26th, 104, and Parker Fitzpatrick, 30th, 108.
Thursday the Rams competed against three other teams at the Jewell Golf and Country Club. South Hamilton topped the field with 341 followed by Greene County at 354; Ogden 364 and Roland-Story 367.
The Rams open Class 3A regional competition on Wednesday at Carroll.
